Dehradun, 31 August 2025: Roorkee MLA Pradeep Batra participated in the Public Image & Membership Development Seminar organised by Rotary District 3080 at Luxuria Farms, Dehradun. The seminar was hosted under the theme “Vistaar – Expanding Horizons, Elevating Impact” with the aim of strengthening Rotary’s initiatives in community service, enhancing its public image, and expanding membership for greater social impact.Dist Governor Ravi Prakash was also among the dignitaries present..
The event began with registration and breakfast at 8:30 AM, followed by the seminar sessions which continued till 2:15 PM. The sessions highlighted strategies for engaging more people in Rotary’s mission of service, the importance of developing a positive public image, and methods to expand the horizon of community development initiatives.
MLA Pradeep Batra, while addressing the gathering, appreciated Rotary’s tireless efforts in connecting communities and creating a platform for meaningful service. He said that such programmes provide inspiration and practical insights on how collective efforts can bring about long-term positive change in society. He further emphasized that Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self” reflects the true spirit of community building and leadership.
The seminar concluded with fellowship and lunch, providing participants an opportunity to interact, share experiences, and discuss future collaborations. Members and leaders from various Rotary Clubs under District 3080 were present in large numbers, making the event a grand success.
