Roorkee.A Cultural Evening ‘Abhivyakti’-Expressions of soul was Organized in Delhi Public School,Roorkee where the students of Grades LKG to-VIII participated on 23rd December 2023. The entire show was based on the theme ‘India’s Diverse Culture and Heritage’ which beautifully showcased the Different Dance Forms from Various states and their Cultural traditions and values.The evening celebrated India’s essence from diverse dance forms.
Directors MLA Pradeep Batra,Ram Agarwal, Siddharth Batra graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the Lamp by the dignitaries and invoking God’s blessings. The august gathering and the guests were cordially welcomed by the Principal Mrs Priya Kaushik who rendered the welcome address. She highlighted the school’s progress in academic and non-academic areas.
The cultural programme began with a spellbinding performance of the students in Ganesh Vandana. The chief guest appreciated the talent displayed by the students.
Mrs Priya Kauhsik, Principal of DPS,Roorkee lauded the children for their remarkable performances during the Cultural event celebrations. She highlighted the school awards and the outstanding accomplishments of students while presenting the Annual School Report.
