Roorkee. Two-day state level annual conference Uttaracon-23 organized by IMA (Indian Medical Association) Roorkee begins at a hotel in Roorkee. IMA is the only representative voluntary organization of doctors of the modern scientific medical system, which looks after the interests of the doctors as well as the well-being of the community at large. IMA (Indian Medical Association) state level meeting is held every year in Uttarakhand and this year this meeting is getting organized in Roorkee on 2nd and 3rd December 2023. At least 250-300 doctors are participating in this conference from state and nearby places. In this meeting the new president also will be elected and the work for the new year will be decided.
The program is inaugurated by Professor Dr. Meenu Singh, Director and CEO of AIIMS Rishikesh. And Roorkee MLA Pradeep Batra. Well-known doctors from India and abroad including America are participating in this conference . Professor Mudit Dabral, Dr. Ravikant and Dr. Prasan Panda from AIIMS, Dr. Neeraj Nagpal, Dr. Rama Bhargava Dr. Vishwadarshi Jaiswal, Dr. RP Ram, Dr. Mohit Gupta and Dr. Rajeev Aggarwal. In this conference, diabetes anemia, use of artificial intelligence and rational use of antibiotics will be discussed. A souvenir ANASTMOSIS will also be released in the program. Also The state executive meeting of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) will be held in Uttaracon 2023. Dr. Sandhya Bhatnagar will take over as the President of Uttarakhand State IMA.

President Organizing committee for the management of this Uttaracon.Dr. Arun Kumar and the secretary Dr. Sudhir Chaudhary Chaudhary were present with Roorkee IMA President Dr. Praveen Gothi and Secretary Ajay Pawar. Uttaracon 2023 will conclude on 3rd December with advances in Robotic Surgery.
