Roorkee, 2 July — Inner Wheel District 308 zone 10 took a significant step towards women’s health by organizing a mega awareness car rally named ‘Tejasvini’ with the aim to eliminate cervical cancer through increased awareness and timely vaccination.
The rally witnessed the presence of several dignitaries, including local MLA Pradeep Batra, Project Chairman Sujata Ajuha, Zonal Counsellor Shashi Kir,Mamta gupta,pooja goel and Rama Bhargava.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Pradeep Batra lauded the initiative and emphasized the importance of community-driven awareness campaigns in combating preventable diseases like cervical cancer. Project Chairman Sujata Ajuha highlighted that the ‘Tejasvini’ rally aims to educate women about early screening, vaccination, and the importance of regular medical check-ups.
