Roorkee. A workshop was organized for women under Swachhta Pakhwada-2025 at the National Institute of Hydrology, Roorkee. About 100 women participated in it. During this, views were expressed on the role of women in society and a pledge of cleanliness was taken.
The program was inaugurated by chief guest and social worker Manisha Batra, Savita Goyal and Director in charge Dr. Chandana, Dr. SD Khobragade, Nodal Officer Dr. Gopalkrishna and Dr. Tripti Muguli. Manisha Batra stressed on the need to make women self-reliant for the development of the country and society. Savita Goyal gave information about the role of women in cleanliness. Nodal Officer Dr. Gopal Krishna gave information about the activities being done by NIH under Swachh Bharat Mission.
